The Beersheba Blessing

Let there be blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might unto our God for ever and ever Amen. Revelation 7:12.

Blessing and honor and glory and power unto Him that sits upon the throne and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.  Revelation 5:13.

You are worthy O Lord to receive glory and honor and power for you have created all things and for your pleasure they are and were created. Revelation 4:11.

Now unto the King eternal immortal invisible the only wise God be honor and glory for ever and ever Amen. 1 Timothy 1:17.

Alleluia! Salvation and Glory and Honor and Power unto the Lord our God for true and righteous are His judgments. Revelation 19:1 & 2.

Praise God all you His servants and all who fear Him both small and great. Alleluia for the Lord God Omnipotent reigns. Revelation 19:5 & 6.

Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to Him for the marriage of the Lamb is come and His bride has made herself ready in the fine white linen of the righteousness of Her Saints. Blessed are they who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb.       Revelation 19:7-9.

A little background on why I gave this the name the Beersheba Blessing. In Genesis 21 Abraham settles a dispute over a well with a King named Abimelech by swearing to a covenant oath.

And Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves. Abimelech asked what mean these seven ewe lambs which you have set by themselves. He said for these seven lambs you shall take of my hand will bear witness unto me that I have dug this well. Wherefore he called the place Beersheba because there they both swore. Genesis 21:28-31. Beersheba means well of the seven-fold oath. I wanted to relate that to the blessings found in the book of Revelation for it is there we find the Lord repeatedly referred to as the Lamb of God. Only John the Baptist otherwise spoke of Him in this manner. I placed Paul’s glorious proclamation from 1 Timothy 1 at the center of this collection of verses from Revelation.

Seven times a day I praise you because of Thy righteous judgments. Psalm 119:164.
